September 20, 2023 – WinGuard is an open integration platform offering the cross-domain integration of the entire security, building and communication technology as well as the IT infrastructure. Via proprietary adapters, technical systems of different manufacturers are integrated, enabling to control them from a uniform user adapter. The connection of further systems such as IoT, incident management or ticketing systems can also be realized seamlessly.
More than 500 adapters to systems from best-of-breed manufacturers are now available. Recent new developments include amongst others the adapters to Avigilon (Avigilon Unity Access), Bosch (MIC series dome camera), Harper Chalice Group (SecureBus) and Leica Geosystems AG (BLK247). A current overview of all available adapters can be found on the Advancis website. The goal is to extend the number of adapters at an even faster pace via the newly created Advancis Open Platform (AOP) and an even stronger integration of external development partners, while at the same time continuously advancing the further development of existing adapters.
“Today, a multitude of individual systems deliver large amounts of information which is often difficult to manage – e.g. from security management systems, building automation, communication technology, IoT or data mining. Most manufacturers have recognized that and are willing to open up their systems to enable data exchange via APIs. We very much welcome this development towards holistic, cross-vendor solutions,” states Lars Waldow, CPO at Advancis. “With our new Advancis Open Platform (AOP), we enable the end user or our partners to extend the software as desired with functionalities, adapters and individual UI components based on the existing generic concepts. There are almost no limits to the use of custom components so that it is also possible to realize applications within the application. All extensions fit seamlessly into the existing application and are based on a unified API which is also used for WinGuard’s own adapters and UI components. In addition, we are also further expanding the collaboration with our external development partners, amongst others with BasysKom, Cruatech and Rising Systems. Based on the use of WinGuard, they develop individual end customer applications and provide e.g. process-accompanying tools to fully realize specific project requirements. Thus, there are no limits anymore even regarding very individual customizations”, explains Lars Waldow.
