Security Essen: Advancis opens WinGuard – AOP creates new opportunities

Market launch of the Advancis Open Platform (AOP), the latest developments regarding WinGuard and AIM, and several partner solutions

Langen, August 19, 2026 – Advancis Software & Services GmbH, one of the international market leaders in vendor-neutral risk management, will present its solutions for integrated security, building, and identity management at Security Essen from September 22 to 25, 2026. The focus of the company’s trade show presence will be on the WinGuard and AIM (Advanced Identity Manager) software platforms, as well as the official market launch of the new Advancis Open Platform (AOP).

AIM Simplifies Physical Identity and Access Management

At the Advancis booth in Hall 8, Booth 8A15/8B15, industry professionals will gain comprehensive insights into the latest developments in integrated security and building management. The focus will be on the two core solutions, AIM and WinGuard. With the Advanced Identity Manager (AIM), Advancis presents a powerful platform for Physical Identity & Access Management (PIAM). The solution centralizes the management of identities, access rights, visitors, third-party contractors, and approval processes in a single, unified application. By integrating a wide variety of access control systems, automating workflows, and synchronizing relevant data, AIM enhances transparency, security, and compliance in complex corporate environments.

WinGuard Integrates Security, Buildings, and Processes

Also on presented will be the open integration platform WinGuard, which brings together security, building, and information technology systems from various manufacturers into a single, centralized user interface. By intelligently networking a wide variety of technologies, WinGuard helps control centers detect events more quickly, automate processes, and efficiently manage security-related operations. AOP expands on this approach: project-specific custom solutions, automations, reports, workflows, dashboards, or additional integrations can also be developed and reused by third parties using AOP. This gives Advancis partners the opportunity to expand their service portfolio, differentiate themselves from the competition, and either purchase WinGuard customer requirements from third parties based on AOP or implement them themselves.

AOP Lays the Foundation for an Open Integration Ecosystem

With AOP, Advancis opens up its software to third-party developments without having to make changes to the core system. Standardized APIs enable the development of custom extensions, integrations, automations, and project-specific functions. At Security Essen, Advancis will unveil the AOP Hub for the first time, through which partners, developers, and end customers can access information about existing AOP extensions. In addition, AOP developers can use the AOP Hub to centrally manage the entire lifecycle of their development projects: from the initial idea, through all necessary implementation steps, to distribution and ongoing maintenance. The goal is to build an open integration ecosystem in which partners can implement, market, and deploy their own solutions across projects while retaining control over their intellectual property. “With AOP, we’re creating the conditions that allow partners and customers to develop their own innovations based on WinGuard and, if they wish, market them,” says Advancis CEO Jan Meiswinkel. “AOP provides WinGuard integrators with new opportunities for differentiation and value creation, while end customers can implement their individual requirements more flexibly.”
