Advancis acquires Irish security company Cruatech

Langen, August 26, 2021 – Advancis Software & Services GmbH, manufacturer of the security and building management software WinGuard, has acquired the Irish software company Cruatech, an expert for integration solutions in the field of physical security.

Cruatech, based in Dublin/Ireland, has eleven years of experience in the security industry and offers customized integration solutions in the field of physical security. Its customers come from all sectors, including finance, but also government agencies or data centers. Cruatech is a pure software house, which offers integration services for leading manufacturers from all over the world in addition to its own products. Having developed over 250 integration modules, Cruatech has extensive development experience. Cruatech will remain as an independent company and will continue to expand its development department in the future. Thus, Cruatech could also support Advancis in the future as “Development Partner” within the Advancis ecosystem and develop specific adapter modules for WinGuard projects.

Cruatech’s existing product portfolio includes, in addition to its own PSIM solution, in particular a software platform for consolidating access control systems from different manufacturers. The logical and physical access rights associated with an employee’s role are always synchronized, e.g., only one access card is needed to log in to different subsystems. Such functionality is also frequently requested by PSIM customers, so Advancis will offer added value to its customers in the future while maintaining its vendor neutrality.

The exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition was completed on August 18, 2021, with retroactive effect from the beginning of 2021.
