HACKATHONAMRING 2021

From 01 to 03 October 2021, Advancis was part of the Hackathonamring that took place at the Nürburgring/Germany. The event was hosted by the SPELL research project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in which Advancis is involved as a project partner. The hackers faced several challenges including the one for the SPELL use case “Complex Campus” within the research project.

Two teams successfully hacked a social media/Twitter adapter that can be used to receive event messages about hazardous situations such as natural disasters in our control center system WinGuard as well as a “heat map” visualizing the volume of event messages on maps over time. Advancis would like to thank the event hosters as well as all hackers for their commitment and the interesting days at the Nürburgring!
